The Policy on Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH), reflects our commitment to ensuring that all employees feel safe, valued, and respected within our organization.

At InfosecTrain, we firmly believe that every individual has the right to work in an environment free from any form of harassment or discrimination. As such, the POSH policy has been developed to prevent and address instances of sexual harassment, both overt and subtle, that may occur in the workplace. This policy applies to all employees, regardless of their position or tenure.

Definition of Sexual Harassment

Sexual harassment, as defined in our policy, encompasses any unwelcome verbal, non-verbal, or physical conduct of a sexual nature. This includes harassment based on gender, sexual orientation, or any other protected characteristic under applicable laws. Our policy strictly prohibits all forms of sexual harassment within the workplace, during work-related activities, and even outside official hours if it affects the work environment or involves individuals from our organization. This comprehensive approach ensures a safe and respectful environment for all employees, regardless of when or where interactions occur.

Reporting Mechanism

A confidential reporting mechanism to ensure that anyone who experiences or witnesses sexual harassment feels comfortable coming forward. This mechanism includes multiple channels such as designated individuals, HR representatives, or a dedicated hotline, ensuring that employees have various options to report incidents.

Investigation and Action 

  • Any reported incidents will be promptly and thoroughly investigated by our internal committee
  • The committee will follow a fair and unbiased process to assess the situation, gather evidence, and take appropriate actions 
  • This may include counseling, disciplinary measures, or legal action, as per the severity of the offense and applicable laws.

 

Awareness and Training

  • Regular sessions to help employees understand what constitutes sexual harassment, and provide guidance on preventing and addressing such behavior.
  • Sessions to educate them on the policy to create awareness and promote a culture of respect and inclusion

 

Confidentiality

We understand the sensitivity of these matters and will ensure the utmost confidentiality and privacy throughout the reporting and investigation process. Information will be shared on a need-to-know basis, maintaining the privacy of all parties involved.
