What exactly is Threat Hunting?

Threat hunting is the process of looking for cyber threats that are hiding in the network, datasets, and endpoints without being noticed.   1. Resolution: During the resolution phase, operations and security teams use information about malicious activity to deal with the incident and reduce threats. Data from both good and bad things can be used to make automation technology more effective without any more human help.

Brim: Brim is an open-source desktop program for network and security professionals. In Brim, you can quickly find and analyze data from both structured log files and packet captures, like those made by Wireshark or Zeek.

The brim is especially helpful for security and network administrators who need to manage large packet capture, particularly those too large for Wireshark, Tshark, or other packet analyzers.
